Standard commercial terms
These are AMG's proposed standard terms. Final terms are set in the signed agreement and Statement of Work.
- Every project starts with an intake, a written scope, milestones and deposit approval.
- Proposed default: 50% initial project deposit before work begins.
- Remaining build balance billed by written milestones.
- Production estimates begin after onboarding and receipt of required assets.
- Business Pro, Cinematic Pro and Digital Partner retainers: proposed initial three-month term.
- Monthly plans billed in advance; unused hours do not roll over.
- One active development request at a time.
- Additional work through approved written change orders.
- Third-party fees (hosting, apps, licenses, stock assets) billed separately unless included.

For a small number of high-potential companies, AMG may consider a partnership that combines a reduced cash development fee with an equity position. These arrangements are negotiated individually and are subject to AMG's review and approval.

Digital Studio questions
What is the difference between the build fee and the retainer?
The build fee is a one-time project fee for the initial site or app. The retainer is a separate monthly fee for continued development after launch, with a set number of included hours.
Do unused hours roll over?
No. Included hours reset each month. Additional work can be added through a written change order.
How are requests handled?
One active development request at a time, prioritized with you. Larger items are scoped as change orders.
Do you build video games?
No. AMG Digital Studio does not offer video game development for clients.
Who owns the finished work?
Ownership and licensing of deliverables, pre-existing AMG tools and third-party components are defined in the signed agreement.
What happens after I pay?
Your order confirmation includes a link to the project intake form. Submit your materials there; production starts once we have them. Larger projects start with a quote, an approved scope and a deposit invoice instead.
When does the production estimate start?
After onboarding and once we have the assets we need from you, such as content, brand files and account access. Estimates are not guarantees; the signed scope sets the schedule.
How is the project delivered?
We build on a staging or unpublished version you can review. After your approval at each milestone, we launch and hand over access and documentation.
Can I buy a Starter or Business website directly?
Yes. Choose the plan, pay the build fee at checkout, then complete the project intake from your order confirmation. The monthly care plan is a separate subscription you can add.
